Indore, Aug 8 (UNI) The BJP will hold discussions with
party workers and other organisations begining today in
every division of Madhya Pradesh for preparation of election
manifesto in view of upcoming state assembly
elections.
'acute;'acute;Public participation is imperative in the
formulation of an election manifesto that envisages
all-round development of the state and that could be
emulated by other states,'acute;'acute; BJP Election
Manifesto Committee member Jaibhan Singh Pavaiah told UNI
here.
Mr Pavaiah said suggestions would be taken from business
organisations such as Chambers of Commerce, industrialists
and other groups.
The BJP leader pointed out that public will is greater than
party in democracy. The present government had achieved 70
per cent success in the implementation of election
manifesto.
On leadership for the next assembly polls, he claimed that
it would be fought under the leadership of Chief Minister
Shivraj Singh Chouhan.
On whether assembly polls in Madhya Pradesh would be
contested on the lines of Gujarat polls, he said Gujarat
model meant developing the state with respect to industry,
agriculture and infrastructure.
The difference between Madhya Pradesh and Gujarat is that
when the BJP came to power in Gujarat it was a developing
state. However, it was not the case with Madhya
Pradesh.
On Hindutva-related polices, Mr Pavaiah said Gujarat Chief
Minister Narendra Modi has demolished the network of
anti-national elements that are dangerous for the
country.
The state government has taken similar action against SIMI
in Indore and Malwa, he added.
